Rocambole garlic is revered for it's excellent rich flavor. This prized hardneck variety is easy to peel and grows outstanding scapes. They do not store long, making them a true seasonal treat. We find the superior culinary qualities of Rocamboles really shine when prepared raw. Rocamboles require good soil fertility and should be planted into well amended soil, with moderate to high amounts of organic matter. They grow best in climates that have colder winter temps, but can be successfully grown in most locations.
