Silver White - Seed Garlic
'Silver White' is a Silverskin garlic that is widely adapted to many growing climates and is one of the longest storing cultivars (9-12 months in proper storage!). These dense bulbs offer a good ratio of flesh to bulb. 'Silver White' matures later than other types, when harvest slows and these plants can be made into beautiful garlic braids. It usually gives the telltale sign of "lodging" (falling over) when it is close to harvest stage. This garlic makes for a delicious buttery flavor when roasted and holds its flavor well when flavoring soups, sauces are anything with a lot of cook time.
Seed garlic orders will be shipped late September
