Silver White - Seed Garlic
'Silver White' is a Silverskin garlic that is widely adapted to many growing climates. These dense bulbs offer a good ratio of flesh to bulb. Fifteen to twenty cloves per bulb is typical for this garlic. 'Silver White' matures later than other types, when harvest slows and these plants can be made into beautiful garlic braids. It usually gives the telltale sign of "lodging" (falling over) when it is close to harvest stage. 'Silver White' is also one of the longest storing cultivars and makes for a delicious buttery flavor when roasted.
Seed garlic orders will be shipped late September
