Chesnok Red - Organic Seed Garlic

'Chesnok Red' produces dense bulbs with vibrant purple bulb wrappers. A truly eye catching garlic with 8 to 12 cloves per bulb. Some consider it's flavor and texture among the best for roasting. Storage length is moderate keeping for 4 to 6 months under proper conditions.

Like all true Purple Stripe garlics, 'Chesnok Red' requires some winter chill to grow to it's full potential, making it best suited for climates with colder winters. If you grow in a climate with mild winters, a Marbled Purple Stripe like 'Russian Red' might be a better option.
